About Us
Canadian Federation of Truckers (CFT) is a non profit Canadian Organization, which was founded in the year of 2015 in Ontario, Canada. We invite truckers and trucking Companies, owner operators, professionals and service providers to join the group to discuss Industry issues the challenges on the road and help us raise the profile of the Trucking Professionals – with the General Public.
Our Objectives
CFT is focused to be the National umbrella Organizations of Truckers in Canada. The arrangements of seminars and or educational opportunities about the rules, regulations and obligations related to the transport industry in general and trucking in particular are just one of our many objectives. We advise and represent the membership in third party negotiations. We promote and educate the membership about safety standards, obligations and rules and regulations of the trucking industry. We represent the membership’s interests at Municipal, Provincial, and Federal Government Departments, Boards, Agencies and international regulatory bodies and organizations. We facilitate dispute resolution (negotiations and mediation) of its membership with third parties and within the membership.
